Sheraton Keauhou Bay ~ Wedding and Celebration Ceremony and Reception Locations

Dramatic ceremony locations include our Bayside Wedding Gardens, (the Bayside Chapel, Lawn, Overlook and Gazebo), the Hawaii Lawn or our Sunset Cliffs, ideal to celebrate "Love on the Lava."

For a smooth progression from ceremony to reception, we have an array of settings for festive or intimate receptions. We are happy to assist in making arrangements for specialty cakes, champagne, and customized menus.

The Bayside Chapel   
Kona's premier wedding and celebration location is home to the coast's only resort chapel. The brilliant Bayside Chapel sets the stage for your vows, followed by pictures in the Bayside Wedding Gardens, and a grand entrance to the party on the Bayside Photo Lawn as you enter from the Gazebo overlooking adoring guests and family. Everything your dreams can imagine in one central location with perfect weather, ambiance, and a touch of sophistication to celebrate your passion for excellence. 
Chapel capacity is 50 guests.
Gazebo capacity is 10 guests.
Overlook capacity is 20 guests.

The Bayside Lawn
An unforgettable reception location…a velvet lawn located adjacent to the Bayside Chapel edges towards Keauhou Bay and the blue Pacific. It's the perfect location for a reception following a ceremony in the Bayside Chapel to capture the essence of Hawaii.
Banquet capacity is 250 guests.

The Bayview Grounds 

Photo Gardens
This picturesque location, framed by Hawaiian flora and fauna and a backdrop of tiki torches, is perfect for more intimate receptions and dinners. You and your guests will enjoy walking along the scenic pathways that meander within this location as the glowing sun sets in the distance.

Sunset Cliffs
This intimate setting is unlike anything imaginable. Atop black lava cliffs on sandy outcroppings above the blue Pacific, it is perfect for a small sunset ceremony or vow renewal. Two locations to choose from, the Sunset Cliffs are along our scenic walking path and adjacent to the golf course. Picture taking from these locations is simply unparalleled.
Capacity is 12 guests for both locations.

Hawaii Lawn 
Set above our fantasy swimming pool and framed by tropical landscaping and the Kona Country Club Golf Course, the Hawaii Lawn affords a broad green lawn, which can be decorated from casual to elegant. Views of the southern Kona coastline and verdant Hualalai Mountain are attributes of this, our largest outdoor area.

Bayview Rooms
For a more formal setting, our Bayview Rooms are a sophisticated choice with floor to ceiling windows in each of three rooms that open to one room, all overlooking the Bayview Lawn and Keauhou Bay. This is the perfect venue when you want that indoor/outdoor feel, upscale decor and live music.
Banquet capacity is 200 guests.

Keauhou Convention Center
You expect several hundred people to share your special day? The Keauhou Convention Center is the largest ballroom on the Kona Coast. 10,000 square feet of room is more than enough to handle the needs of even the most popular couples.
Banquet capacity is 800 guests

Site Fees: (all plus tax)
(a-la-carte pricing if not selecting a wedding package)

Deposit:
A deposit in the amount of $500 for ceremonies only, or $1,500 for a ceremony and/or reception will act as your commitment to hosting your event at Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa and enable us to begin planning. The deposit will be applied toward your wedding/ celebration and is non-refundable once it is received and is required to confirm your space.

Wedding/Celebration Coordination:

At Sheraton Keauhou Bay, we create every wedding and celebration of love as a customized event to remember. For a stress-free day, our professional wedding/celebration specialists do all of the hard work for you. From arranging for your marriage and civil union licensing appointment to designing your bouquets to creating a delectable menu, our staff does it all.  The details will be arranged without you having to do a thing. A coordination fee is required with all a la carte wedding and celebration package bookings.

Wedding/Special Events Coordination Fee:  $850.00 plus tax

NOTE: Vendor Contracting
All contracting of outside vendors (Photographers, Videographers, Entertainment, etc.) are to be coordinated exclusively through Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa's Wedding/Celebration Department.

Hotel Accommodations:
Our exquisite resort is ideal for couples, their families and special guests. Special rates are available for the celebration couple and their guests when 10 or more rooms are guaranteed with a two-night minimum stay.
If fewer rooms are needed  or you don't want to worry about maintaining a group block, simply call our Wedding/Celebrations Reservation Line and request the room type of your choice - and the price is already discounted for you just because you're having your ceremony or reception with us - no contract needed and no minimum stay is required! Please keep in mind that this option does not afford you a block of rooms and rooms for your guests are subject to availability. Room rates will be quoted upon request.
