Experience More Hawaii and More Fun at Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa

There is lots to do every day of the week to learn more about Hawaii and our Keauhou community.

Manta Talks
The mosts amazing "entertainment" on the island! Manta Rays can be seen most evenings from the viewing area near Manta Ray Bar & Grill. Complimentary manta talks are held nightly except Sundays just after sunset to provide guests an introduction to the famous Keauhou Manta Rays. Through a short presentation by manta experts, guests learn about their amazing size, the difference between Manta and Sting Rays, and why Mantas are unique to and frequent the Keauhou area.

Lu'au
Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa is home to Haleo luau and dinner show held each Monday evening on the Hawaii Lawn, presented by Island Breeze Productions. Sample local foods along with contemporary favorites then sit back, relax, and enjoy an entertaining, show with dramatic song, dance and chants that share the history of Keauhou.

Adults $79.95, children (6-12) are $49.95 and 5 and under are complimentary. Price includes gratuity, tax is additional. Alii upgrade, $15 adults, $10 children, includes souvenir lei, express ticket purchase and check-in and reserved front section seating.

Halau Kala'akeakauikawekiu

To share the rich culture and history of Hawaii with guests, Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa adopted Halau Kala'akeakauikawekiu, a respected and growing hula school.

The halau holds its practices on resort grounds. Guests are welcomed to sit, watch, enjoy, and take photographs as the keiki (children) and adults work diligently with their kumu (teacher) to perfect intricate hand and foot movements while expressing the emotion of hula.

Practice schedule:
• Monday - 3:30-5:30 p.m. (keiki) and 6-7:30 p.m. (adult ladies)
• Wednesday - 4:00-5:30 p.m. (keiki) and 6-7:30 p.m. (adult ladies)
• Saturday - 8:30a .m. to 2:30 p.m., keiki of different ages at different times
Rehearsals are usually outdoors on or near the Hawaii Lawn or near the Keauhou Convention Center.

The Resort's Alaka`i Ho`oluana (Director of Cultural and Leisure Activities) hosts complimentary cultural and historical tours and island orientation briefings during the week. There are also numerous activities each day in and around the Manta Ray Super Slide & Pool. Check our calendar of events for more information.
