1. Driving Directions: From Kona International Airport, turn right on to Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway. Remain on "Queen K" for approximately 10 miles. As you head up a slight incline, get in the right lane, watch for the lava rock wall sign for Keauhou Resort and the sign over the traffic light indicating Kamehameha III Road where you'll turn right. Follow "Kam III Road" to the 2nd light which is Ali'i Drive, where you'll turn left. Follow Ali'i Drive past Kona Country Club golf course & club house. Watch for a small green roadway sign on the right hand side indicating an upcoming right turn for Keauhou Bay where you'll turn right at the traffic light on to Kaleiopapa Street. Ehukai Street and the entrance to Sheraton Keauhou are just at the bottom and to your left off of Kaleiopapa Street.

2. Is there a complimentary shuttle from the airport? No, we do not offer complimentary shuttle service. However, we can assist with your transportation needs. You may contact us prior to your arrival at 808-930-4900 and ask for Concierge Services. Back to Top.

3. How much does a taxi cost from the airport? Cost is approximately $55 - $60 depending on time of day, number of passengers, and amount of luggage. Back to Top

4. What is the cost for parking at the hotel? Self parking is $10, valet parking is $16. Back to Top

5. How long does it take to get from the airport to the hotel? Depending upon the time of your arrival, driving time could vary from 20 minutes to 40 minutes.

6. Is there a spa or fitness center? Ho'ola Spa is a full service salon and spa located at Sheraton Keauhou. You may learn more about their services by clicking here. Guests of Sheraton Keauhou also have complimentary access to our fully equipped 24-hour, ocean front fitness center. Back to Top

7. Do you have a Jacuzzi? There are two Jacuzzis in the Manta Ray Super Slide & Pool. Back to Top

8. What restaurants and bars are at the hotel? Sliders is located poolside for light dining and cocktails late morning until early evening. Kai is open for breakfast & dinner daily. Manta Ray Bar & Grill offers cocktails and pupus (hors d'oeuvres) adjacent to our Manta Ray viewing area as well as entertainment and a hot grill station for burger and sandwiches on weekends. (Subject to change without notice). Keauhou Bay Coffee Co. serves coffees, fruits, pastries and other beverages for a lighter start to your day. A luau dinner and show is held each Monday. 9. Is there internet access? The resort offers high speed wireless internet access throughout. In-room wireless access is $12.95 per day. This charge is included with the daily Resort Fee applied to each guest room for in-room and lobby area WiFi. We also offer Link@Sheraton located poolside, lower level. Back to Top

10. Is there a doctor on property? No, we do not have a doctor on property. Kona Community Hospital and several medical clinics are a short distance away.

11. Is there an ATM? There is an automatic teller machine just behind our front desk area. Back to Top

12. Do you have Hawaiian entertainment? In addition to our luau on Monday evenings, we frequently offer live, local entertainment at Manta Ray Bar & Grill. (Check with concierge for exact dates/times). Back to Top

13. Is there a hair and nail salon? Among the many services available from Ho'ola Spa is a full-service hair and nail salon. You may contact them by calling 808-930-4848 or email them. Back to Top

14. Is the staff multi-lingual? Yes, we have staff fluent in Japanese, Chinese, Talagog, and other languages. Back to Top

15. Is there a hospitality room? Based upon availability and departures, the resort can make arrangements for hospitality. Back to Top

16. Does the restaurant have an ocean view? Kai offers sweeping views of Keauhou Bay and the Kona Coast. Manta Ray Bar & Grill offers dramatic ocean views from the lava rock cliffs at the entrance to Keauhou Bay. Back to Top

17. What time does the sun set? Depending on the time of year, the sunset can vary from between 6:00 p.m. (winter months) to 7:30 p.m. (summer months).  Back to Top

18. Do you have a luau? Yes! "Haleo" is offered outdoors under the stars on Monday evenings. Back to Top

19. How do I find out more about activity at the Volcano? You may visit http://hvo.wr.usgs.gov/kilauea/update to ascertain up-to-date information from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Back to Top

20. Do you offer a children or teen program? We do not currently offer an organized program for children. Each and every day there is lots for children to do in and around the Manta Ray Super Pool & Slide and of course they have all of the Big Island to explore. Club Le`ale`a is our complimentary Teen Lounge open from 10am-10pm daily. There is ping pong, 3 televisions, 2 xBox gaming systems and a Wii. Registered guests 18 and over may sign out games and controllers from the front desk for younger teens. There is no fee as long as items are returned by 10pm.  Back to Top

22. Do you have a beach? Our Manta Ray Super Slide & Pool is adorned with a sandy-bottomed children's play area. Complimentary Keauhou Trolley Service is offered from the hotel to nearby Kahalu'u Beach Park, famous for its snorkeling and there is a small beach and ocean access for kayaking, paddleboarding and boating from Keauhou Bay, just a five minute walk from the resort's entrance. 25. Is there a resort shuttle? Keauhou "intra-resort" Trolley service is included complimentary in guest's daily resort fee. The shuttle operates beginning at 9:00 a.m. with its last drop off back at the resort at 8:00 p.m. and includes stops at Keauhou Shopping Center, Kahalu'u Beach Park, Historic Kailua Village and the Kona Commons Shopping Center. 26. Do you offer a resort amenity program? At this time, we do not offer a resort amenity program. We do however have a mandatory daily resort fee of $20.83. This fee includes WiFi in-room and on the ocean view deck (lobby level), self-parking for one car per day (upgrade to valet parking for $6 per day), daily use of the Keauhou to Kona Trolley service, local and 1-800 telephone calls, up to 30-minutes of non-international long distance calls per day, two bottles of Hawaiian Spring water daily, two Manta Punch drinks per stay (choice of alcoholic or non-alcoholic), yoga classes Monday and Thursday mornings, cultural tours Tuesday/Thursday mornings and Friday evenings, island orientations Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings and hula and lei making classes Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.
